Can aldi be ran on the domestic water cold only

Im rebuilding the heat side(connectors, convectors etc) of the aldi 3010, on my 320. Would like to take a short trip while parts are ordered. I would like to use the fresh water(domestic) side without heat and the glycol side drained. I do not see why this would be a problem but maybe Im missing something. Thank you, pete

    If you're not actually running the Alde, this should be fine.

    What year is your trailer? Does it have an Alde bypass? If so I would just open the bypass and close the valves on the lines leading to and from the Alde. This disconnects the Alde from the domestic side and allows fresh water (whether from city or onboard tank) to feed both the hot and cold taps.

    Either bypassed or not, doesn't matter in this case. The water system will work fine. If the Alde was removed or leaking, you would need to bypass. Just don't turn on the Alde.

    Don't forget, this means no heat as well.
