Annual Winterizing question

Hi all,

I wasn't able to get out camping in my 2020 TAB 320 Boondock this year. Can I keep the camper winterized till next season? Or should I de-winterize and winterize again? I might be able to get out for a night or two before it freezes again. Thanks all,

    IMHO
    If the trailer was fully winterized when placed in storage at end of 'last season' there is no reason to do it again. Any anti-freeze soluiton you used will not have degraded over the past summer season.

    Even less of a risk if you used the drain and blow only method. Maybe top off the drains with fresh antifreeze and remove/replace the grey water drainage cap to refresh and replace any anti-freeze lost to evaporation.

    It depends on where you are. In North Texas, we have a few days here and there below freezing. We blow out the fresh water system, poor a cup of antifreeze down the kitchen drain. This allows us to camp as soon as the weather is above freezing without additional work. The '18 'CS has Hepo valves and rather than traps on the shower and lavatory sink.

    If you live somewhere with a long period of freezing/trailer storage other methods of freeze protection could be a reasonable choice. We prefer the drain and blowout method. Draining and blowing out the water is less work, is less expensive, doesn't leave that odd taste in the system, and works for both long and short term storage. If there is no water in the trailer, there is nothing to freeze. "De-winterizing" is going camping.
