Major Mods Folks = = Need Your Opinion = Black Tank

I really like the TAB 360 size and floorplan but can't accept a cassette toilet wet bath.
nüCamp has also clearly stated they have no intentions to offer a blank tank option.

So for weeks I've played with the idea of buying a used 360 and converting the cassette to a standard black tank system. Over those weeks the thoughts/feeling have swung from doable big project, too big a project, and back to doable mid-size to big project.

The attached PDF file has a few images of the bath space with cassette vs standard gravity RV toilets. I believe I found components and placements that will work and thanks to Air force Guy have been able to identify hidden must stay items like the Sink Drain and water source pipes/hoses and the Alde circulation tube locations.

So if you've done some more extreme RV modifications TAB or otherwise. Please take a look - - - Am I crazy - - - is there something I've not considered.

    Have you ever had a camper with a cassette toilet?

    It depends on your talent :) I could make this work but it's likely going to look like a hack job. I have a friend who is a retired cabinet builder/contractor and he could make it look like factory.

    The only possible issue I see is that the tank might take up more space than the drawings show and the toilet turns into a literal throne.

    Agree it won't, with my rough carpenter vs cabinet maker skills, look factory.
    Goal would be to be fully functional with no water leaks.

    The 'not factory' look could impact resale value, not a real concern as - - -its something for Children to worry about 😉 Also, I had 15+ pleasant boating years after I converted a fly-bridge trawler to a raised pilothouse. When sold it was more of a give-away price than market-rate and I survived.

    What are you thinking/considering here?

    The current 3D models use actual new component dimensions and best guess/estimate on nüCamp original dimensions. Once a 360 is available for destruction & detailed measurements all my custom components will be adjusted. Goal & expatiation is toilet seat height will be +/- one inch of cassette with >2x capacity and shower pan will be ~3 inches shorter (foreward-2-aft)
    {{sealing the cut-down shower pan will be a big skill set issue}}

    Current design vents the tank up to the roof which creates the need for a custom block to mount the flat cap on a curved surface. Today had the thought . . . use a side wall vent like the 2018 320S . . . that needs to be investigated. So at the moment this is a paper-only how-to-do and what has been missed or could be less complex mental game. At least until a actually buy a used 360.
