Hi all,

I am new and have gotten so much information from this forum, thank you. I am considering purchasing a used 2023 320 and its is all stock except the owner had painted the bathroom and the galley/kitchen walls. Can anyone tell me if that could be a potential issue on the wall surfaces? I don't know what kind of paint they used but are supposed to get back to me. EDIT: They used SEAL GRIP Gripper 1 gal. White Interior/Exterior Acrylic Primer Sealer from home depot in the bathroom to cover the paint they first used, looks like a water based Kilz type primer/paint. Not sure about what is underneath or in the galley.

I don't recall if there is a vinyl wallpaper on the bathroom or it is a laminate surface? Either way I am a bit hesitant because panting synthetic surfaces with acrylic paint can be a disaster. Temps/humidity where I live is not too extreme at least. Any input is welcome, TYIA!

As long as they used a good primer, you will have zero issues with the top coat coming off. It's the people who don't use a separate primer that have the peeling from the waterproof walls.

Thank you for the reply, thats my concern too. Acrylic primers have come a long way int the last 20+ years but I am not sure if they used one, and stripping acrylic paint off an acrylic surface would be less than fun. And obviously we all prefer fun.
