Norcold will not work on AC power...

I cannot seem to get the Norcold refrigerator to run on A/C power.  It works fine on DC or Propane...  I have verified it is getting A/C power up to the receptacle under the sink.

Are there any other fuses or did I just get one with a bad heating element?

    It sounds like you are on the right track as this source alluded to your issue being a possibly defective heating element with the symptoms you are describing above.  If you are located near Marietta the locations below should be able to provide warranty work on your Norcold.

    I'd try calling the dealer to see if anyone can talk you through troubleshooting over the phone.  Preston Miller has been great about that for me.

    I verified today that the unit is getting A/C power.  I even put a meter on it to see how much current the trailer was using.  When I turn the refrigerator to A/C I do not see any additional current draw so it is most likely a bad heating element/fuse/control board, etc...

    I talked to the dealer and they said to call Little Guy.  I called Little Guy and they said to call Norcold.  They of course said to call my dealer....  (Nothing like passing the buck...)  Finally Norcold gave me a case number to have it repaired at any service center.

     he closest dealer will repair it but not under warrantee (unless they sold you the trailer)  I found one 10 miles away that says that they can repair it under warrantee, but I am worried that they do not know much about the T@B or how the fridge is mounted in the trailer.

    It is my typical luck that something major does not work right from the start.  This was my one concern buying from a dealer 170 miles away, but the closest dealer is about 60 miles aways through the worst of Atlanta traffic from me so it would not have been easier to carry it to them.  It would be 1-1/2 - 2 hr through Atlanta Traffic to get it there or 3 hr in light traffic to carry it back to Knoxville Dealer...


    I was planning on camping this weekend, (beautiful weather of course) but will have to deal with this issue....

    then I'll bring to dealer for repair....

    Yep. It does work pretty well as a cooler with frozen water bottles inside

    Good for you and that's what I would do under the circumstances, make things work to your advantage!   I've got spare coolers in the garage and wouldn't let a small impediment like that hold me back from a weekend out in nature and doing the things you enjoy.  Once you get over that hurdle you will be on your way to enjoying your trailer even further, without the headache....  Have fun and post up some pics!
