my wife has expressed concern that the wet bath floor may not support my bulk - 280 lbs. I don't expect to use the shower, but may want to pee occasionally. Any body have sense of the floor construction?
At 280, might be a tight fit to even pee - Don't know, I'm short and semi-trim so can't visualize. An option might be to use a urnal and empty it into the toilet - wouldn't have to actually climb in for that.
You could spray foam insulation into the space under the shower floor. If you do place a heavy weight on the floor. Otherwise the foam will try to lift the floor. You can also tuck a plastic trash bag into the space then inject that foam into the bag. That would make it easer to remove if necessary. They make 2 types of foam hi expanding and low expanding I would use low.
