So, Does Anyone Ever Come East?

Just a thought that had occurred to me, but with all the T@B'ers going West, does anyone ever come East?
After my first trip, I found they are two totally different worlds, and there are things I like about both.

We are planning our summer 2015 grand adventure headed east. Perhaps outer banks and then DC.
There was an error rendering this rich post.

Maybe 2016 to DC and north to Maine. I still haven't been to the Outer Banks. I made a quick trip to Sugar Creek , PA, and VA last fall.

I live in the east, but for camping adventures I'd pick being out west every time! It's too crowded here, and too few camping options. I suppose it's nice to live here for the convenience, and it is pretty, but I truly love to escape west whenever possible.Lisa. 2008 T@DA, previously 2012 6x10 SS. Southeastern PA

One of my favorite spots is Bar Harbor, Maine..... I also have spent some time along the outer banks too.Mike - Elmira, Mi / 2019 T@B 400 / 2021 Chevy Silverado LTZ

I love Bar Harbor, Maine, too. I find that Forest Service campgrounds provide more space and camping freedom away from other people. Alas, though, that mandates the need for boondocking capabilities. I'm glad I have my Zamp!

I agree, as I love the NFS campgrounds and usually deploy my 80 watt Zamp panel....... The Bar Harbor Campground on Mt Desert Island has some nice, shaded, deep pull through sites and the campground also has a great view of the harbor below too. Not to mention that there are also blue berries that can be found too and are sooooo tasty!
