Sideways and upside down photos

I just realized that any photo I take on my iPhone that isn't landscape (horizontal) and try to post, will appear on its side or upside down - even after I edit it prior to posting. Must we only take landscape photos when we intend to post on this forum?

No, you just need to rotate them in your photos app. At least I do.

No, I already do that from my desktop. If it works for you, then I'm missing something.2016 Outback 320

Don't quote me - I could have this backwards... If you shoot in landscape, they're good to go as long as you make sure the lens is at the top edge. It's easy to flip the phone and not know it's upside down. If it flipped or you shoot in portrait mode (vertical), you need to edit/flip.
I generally transfer all my iPhone photos to my iPad and edit/scale as necessary. I can tell what needs what just by looking at the camera roll album. -
I'll try using only landscape and make sure the lens is at the top. Sounds like that may work.2016 Outback 320
