Has anyone replaced the sink?

Hi all,

We have a 2014 Q model and I'm not thrilled with the plastic sink and inconvenient faucet. We were at our local dealer dropping off M@vis for some warranty work and saw some T@Bs with this sink installed: SMEV VA8005 Square Sink w/ Glass Lid - Deep Sink 5.0"

We both loved that it's stainless steel and that the faucet folds down for travel and it has a glass lid exactly like the existing SMEV stove in the T@B.

Specs:

Dimensions: 16-1/2" x 14-1/2" x 5-3/4" Cabinet Depth

Inside sink Dimensions: 13-3/8" x 9-3/8" x 3-3/4"

has anyone replaced their sink? Pros --- Cons??

M@vis is still at the service center, so I can't run out and measure....

Yes, there are one or two that did it recently - They wanted that flush mount so it matched the cooktop and gave a nice even counter surface. Not sure what brand they used but think it is the one that LG now uses - at least in some models.
You might try searching for "sink" or "replace" - might find those threads.

Thanks - I did do a search before I started this thread, but the search function is limited. I had to sift thru hundreds of posts and came up empty....

Know what you mean - single word does better than multi and sometimes one just has to come up with a related side wird instead.
I wish I could remember how to have Google search a specific site :-(
