Maxxair II Vent Cover

Has anyone had any experience with wasps building nest inside the Maxxair II Cover? We are getting up there in age and ladders to reach the roof are not an option for us? Love the idea of using it for max air flow when the weather is bad. Thanks

It has a screen at the outside opening to keep bugs out, never had a problem.

Same here - Other than I suppose something could crawl up in around the base as it's not sealed.

Just installed my MaxxAir II today. It does restrict the air flow quite a bit and the vent cover itself will only open about half-way. Ultimately I chose it in part for looks and hoped it wouldn't restrict the air too much, but I may take it back and try an Utrabreeze. Has anyone used the Ultrabreeze?
