Lagun tables in TaB trailers

Are these supposed to replace the table that came originally with the trailer?  How do you then make up the bed in the trailer? It appears that we would still need the original table to support the center portion of the bed. Am I missing something here?

    The new trailers that come with Lagun tables have a set of wooden slats for the bed.
