Smoky Mts...Here we come!

Heading out to the Smoky Mts. for a 2 week vacation. Planning to dry camp as much as possible, but will occasionally need to find some shore power to recharge since my solar setup hasn’t arrived yet. TV will charge PopT@B during travel, but I like to stay put for several days to a week once I find a spot I like. Generally, I’m pretty conservative with my power usage but the Alde and Norcold, even though running on LP, still eat up a lot of battery charge over time. Updates will be posted if my WiFi cooperates…full report when I get home. Happy Camping y’all!

Any plans to travel the Blue Ridge Parkway? You can start right in the park and head north and it's a gorgeous stretch of roadway.

I'm headed that direction in a couple of weeks. I'm just passing through and will stay in Waynesville, NC. In what area are you planning to boondock? These photos from the national park were taken last June.

Nice photos, you folks in the mid west and east coast have some beautiful green country. Hope to camp out your way some day on a trip to visit brothers in Michigan.
