It all depends on the tow rating of the vehicle. For instance, my Subaru Outback has a towing capacity of 2,700 lbs. and a tongue weight limit of (I believe) 200 lbs. With out T@B, dry weight, coming in at approximately 1,670, we feel good about our capacity. When fully loaded with "stuff" and fluids (water, propane etc.) we probably add another 2-300 lbs, max.

davee, The owners manual should state a tow rating or something regarding towing with this vehicle. If not then you could probably google it and find the tow rating.The horsepower seems to be sufficient. The rating should give you towing and tongue weight numbers.
