Shower Area Floor Dimensions

I'm wanting to cut a piece of rubber mat or get a teak platform that will fit the shower floor area and I'm looking for the basic size to cut out or purchase. I don't take delivery until this mid week and we are going strait to a campground after pick-up so I'm trying to have the mat ready to drop in.

15" left to right and 14" front to back. This was taken on the flat part of the floor before it curves upward. Drain is in driver front corner.2017 T@B Max S, 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, Birmingham, Al

Unless you are shorter than me - I'm 5'8'" I don't recommend getting a teak platform. Trust me when I say that you need every inch of headroom - or plan on sitting down while showering which works too I guess. I tried to stand in that space a few times and keep turning the light switch off with my head haha.

I bought a clear bathtub rubber mat, cut to size, and it works so well. Easy to clean.Verna, Columbus, IN

I am also 5'8 and agree with Tommy. Space is at a premium in there. Maybe a flat rubber mat if anything. I personally don't have anything in there during showers. It wipes dry with a couple paper towels. I fill the dried out "tub" portion and store a few things like my mini-Keiurig and pots (wrapped in a towel) in there while under way. I don't want to deal with a wet mat inside there. I do use a dish-drying pad outside as a bath mat though. Some of these things are hard to gauge until you get out with T@B and decide what works for you. Enjoy your first trip out!!

I installed grippy strips from BBY, same ones I use in the tub at home. I'm just under 5'8" and can barely stand in there.John and Henrietta, Late 2016 T@B S Max in Western New York
