Just wanted to thank you for your patience and kindness toward me. While our T@B still sits in storage, I learn something daily that I can pass on to my husband. We have had a few issues such as a stabilizer Jack that was totally smooth inside. Our dealer contacted LG and it was shipped directly to us, This has been a learning experience and I am not finished. We have learned more from you than anyone. Now to decide if we want a cover over our vent. 8-| I hope that some day I will be able to contribute to the forum.

    I agree with Judy, when I first got my T@b  I learned so much from the only forum we had back then the Little Guy forum.  Just about every question or issue that is currently being posted (except for the Alde stuff) I remember reading and learning about on the other forum.  At the same time, I wished there was a site just for T@bs.  Now we have it, but I would definitely check out the LG forum and read through some of the categories to learn even more!  Dutchman had the  T@b  for at least a decade or more, so there is a lot of experience posted there.

    judymac, I opted for the Ultra Breeze vent made for the Fantastic roof vent fan. I found it on sale a while back on CW. It is a bit more expensive than most other brands but I really like it. Very easy to install and has posts that accept clips to secure it and makes it easily removeable and reinstall for cleaning when needed. Have the vent open inside and have not had any water entry issues. Just a note on the Fantastic fan. I would think anyone that has one has found out that you have to open the vent at least 3-inches before the fan will come on. I discovered that by accident then remembered reading or seeing this on a video. Anyway that's my input re the vent.  And BTW you do contribute just by being here. Collectively we enjoy helping each other.

    Thanks, Jimbo. This is a learning experience for us and my husband has taken all this info and put into a notebook along with our brochures. Thank you for the compliment.

    Agree with all of the sentiments above 100%!   Judy, as you know everyone is here to help out, learn from one another, share ideas, dreams, experiments, etc. while compiling a repository of information for anyone who happens upon the site or is looking for quick help with issues and whether you are a newbie or seasoned veteran.  

    And to further the story and couple up with what June noted above regarding our original and first forum, "The Little Guy Forum" it has been a learning experience for everyone who has been a member since we introduced the Little Guy forum just over 5-years ago.   I initiated the first forum and as things started to grow we had a combination of both Little Guy and T@B forum members posting in one forum area.  This worked fine for a while, but it was like two giants competing against one another, did create some friction and there was a power struggle of sorts that I needed to get under control at the time.  Although others couldn't see this happening, I had a discussion with Joe Kickos and asked Joe for permission to create separate forums as the volume of information was growing proportionately and there was no way to easily separate the information and reference it for the masses.  And although there was some initial resistance at the onset and throughout the early phases of this process I believe that we can look back now and say that things actually have worked out for the best, we all remain good friends and we can still communicate within both forum areas because information is not only still shared between both groups, but the information for both entities is now intact where it can benefit owners and be referenced easily by owners of these respective trailer units.  

    These forums are for people like yourself Judy and as you have noted, patience is the rule of thumb for the most part as we have all traveled the same road you are now embarking upon.  We were all new trailer owners at one time, asked many of the same questions pertaining to our specific trailer units, learned via the help and examples of others, eventually became seasoned owners (as you will too) and are thus willing to help others out as we wore the same shoes.  And as a final note, these forums are run and participated in a respectful manner for the most part and there are not many heated exchanges ( a few from time to time) because it's not tolerated as Little Guy takes a "zero tolerance" stance.  People know it's more about helping others, respecting other members therein and operating in more a family manner as we are all friends here and via the rally's, have gotten to know one another even better.  

    Have fun with your new trailer, share some photos and know that people are here to help out and solve whatever problems that come up.
