Do the walls in the shower need to be water proofed/sealed?

Hi folks,

I was curious about something, having recently seen photos of a T@B shower with water stains and condensation.  Would it be beneficial to apply some water sealant to the shower walls?  I know it is best to wipe them down after use, but was curious if adding a layer of protection would be a good idea.

Thanks,
Laura

I've been taking a shower in my T@B S M@X every camping day (over 100 days per year), I wipe the walls, floor and toilet down with a squeegie and a microfiber cloth after each shower and there are no signs of water damage. I have done nothing special to my walls and don't expect to have to.

Do I hear a "second" for nominating Verna as the squeakiest clean Administrator (or any T@B owner for that matter) on any RV forum?  Very impressive!

Never even thought about wiping down the shower walls!

Our Tab has the plastic 'contact paper' wallpaper in the shower, as are the rest of the Tab walls, so I never considered it a problem to let them dry on their own. Oh yeah, except when trying to keep the condensation down in the winter.
