Visor fiberglass replacement poles

I understand that PahaQua is very good about replacing broken fiberglass poles. I read where some have been replaced for free. One person said they had to return the broken one at their expense. 
  For information I found the same 3/8" poles on Amazon. The kit included four poles. Cost was 
$11.12 delivered in 2 days Amazon Prime.

    Does it fit the XL Visor or the smaller one?

    Has anyone replaced theirs with aluminum poles? Wondering if they would hold up better?

    IMHO aluminum would not work not able to flex

    tentpoletechologies.com is awesome for making any kind of tent or awning poles you might need. From older tents to new tents and canopies .

    I looked at the Tentpole Technologies website and it seems like a big hassle when all I need to replace is one split section. For $10 I'm going to try the kit from Texsports. And I'll have a couple of spare pieces on hand when I break another. If I were going to switch the entire thing out to fiberglass I would definitely contact Tentpole Technologies, though.
