Camping near Angel Fire NM

We are planning a trip to northern-ish New Mexico in August 2017 and are looking for a place to camp, preferably with a lake/stream/pond for fishing. We CAN boondock if needed, but that is not our first choice. We'd like to be no more than 30-40 miles from Angel Fire, NM. Any suggestions?
We are new owners of a 2017 Tab S Max, Outback.

Haven't been in that area but according to my two camping apps - UltimateCampgrounds and Allstays - There's ForestService west and StateParks north (all dry camping) - Three/four commercial rv parks in/close to AngelFire.

There is an amazing Vietnam Memorial in Angel Fire with a real Huey Helicopter, a wonderful museum, library and chapel. Well worth the visit.
