Suggestion for Outside Chairs...

As we move closer to going full time in our T@B, we are in the market for two recliner type chairs...any suggestions..?
Will be stored in my truck bed during travels...

I've got my eye on the zero gravity chairs, but am just using regular camp chairs at the moment. They serve the purpose and don't take up much room.

I'd be interested in ideas too: light weight, compact, comfy.

The "zero gravity chairs" that we have at home are heavy (steel), and very prone to rust. And they don't fold up very compact-ly. I admit we got them 'cheap'. Are there various brands of them that are aluminum and better quality?

ChanW, interesting and welcome feedback on the chairs. I, too, am looking for lightweight, durability and compact. I think I'm stumbling on the dozens of manufacturers of these (apparently) ranging in price from around $100 all the way down to $35.00. Hmmmm...

They also make a rocker and rotating stool.

Alite Designs is the original (pricey) with plenty of MIC knock-offs (aka junk) listed on Amazon.
Amazon reviews help sort things out, but you have to be careful of fake 5 star reviews.
The Alite design is likely too low to the ground for most RVers.
Visit the REI site and search for "chair" to locate TONS of options.

I have a zero gravity, but it's heavy and cumbersome for me. I travel with a beach chair as well as a cheap bag with built-in footstool (I'm on my second one). It's my fav. I also carry the REI chair like the one posted above by TabberJohn.

Since you're going full time, take a look at Lafuma zero gravity chairs. They cost a little more but the quality and comfort are top notch.

I have a super nice Pico director's chair for when I want to sit up and pay attention and do my work.

But I wanted to get a second chair for around the fire that is more relaxed. Plus, I read on this forum that for women traveling solo, one strategy is to have two chairs in camp so it looks like there are two of you. I bought this cozy chair at Walmart. When I tried it out, I almost felt like I was going to fall asleep. It's that cozy. When I used it in front of a campfire, it put me in a very relaxed and easy going mood. I can't speak for durability. But the feeling of comfort I get from this is immense. I got the pink one.

Wow! Lots of different chairs. Usually the most comfy for me are the heaviest. My last lounger got absconded by my cat and is set up in the basement. It think the original color was light blue, but it is now is made of nice real (cat) fur in a gray and white motif.

Thanks for this - I have two camp chairs but had wished I had one that I could actually take a little snooze on and this one may be it! I may get rid of one of mine and pick this one up.
