Black tank capacity?

Quick question for those in a T@b S: I've heard that the black tank capacity is 6 gallons, but on the nucamp website (http://tab.nucamprv.com/tab-320-s-floor-plan/) it says 8 gallons. Did I hear 6 gallons wrong, and it's always been 8? Or is this an update for the newer models? Thanks!

This obviously is an update to the newer T@B units as my 2015 has a 6-gallon capacity.Mike - Elmira, Mi / 2019 T@B 400 / 2021 Chevy Silverado LTZ

The 2017 T@B's are supposed to have a 8.75 capacity in the black tank according to Ed last year at Tearstock.Verna, Columbus, IN

Hmm... I was supposed to check mine. I have a 2017 and was told that it was 6 gallon by the dealer. The dealer was wrong on many other things, though. I have camper chores planned for today so maybe I will test it and report back.Jon & Angela | Florissant Colorado | 2017 Outback S

Yes, @ColoradoJon, please check so we have the actual scoop. 8 or 8.75 gallons is better than 5 gallons!Verna, Columbus, IN

Just finished checking. I was able to fit 8 gallons in the tank, which was up to the top of the tank, just a touch below the pipe opening. There was about 6" of pipe space available from the top of the water to the toilet valve. I suppose another 3/4 gallon would have fit but it would be a messy affair if it was run that high. Even at 8 gallons I'm not sure I would want to run it that full

SeeLevel readings:
@ 2 gallons: 33%
@ 4 gallons: 54%
@ 6 gallons: 88%
@ 8 gallons: 100%
I ordered my trailer end of May, 2016, picked it up end of July, 2016, so it is a early, very early 2017 model.

@ColoradoJon, You must have drank a LOT of coffee ( ok, we'll go with coffee ) for that test!

Thanks for the test results. Agree with the 8 gallons and not wanting to go any more though, especially if you have to drive a ways to get to a dump station, and it sloshing around. 2016 T@B MAX S-aka: WolfT@B
