No thermostat

well, got the "Jackie Wison" home today....(I know, Lonely Teardrop)
pluggd into my 30 amp circuit installed at the house years ago and discovered that the air conditioner is either ON or OFF..
Has anyone installed a thermostat to eleviate the on/0ff drudgery...?

    I replaced mine with one with a remote control, digital temp selection and an energy mode that turns the A/C off when temp is reached. Do a search of Fridgidare to find the thread with the model, how-to, etc.

    Yup I found it...scared to try to replace the original unit.. My specialty is not Mr. tool guy..
    i want a thermostat controlled unit though..
    guess I will buy one and ask my local t@b dealer to install.
