Here is my solution to keeping a "pack it in pack it out" off grid boondocking garbage issue. I have a coupke other TRASHAROO's mounted on 4x4 off road vehicles and really like them. They rinse out easy, carry a ton of bagged garbage and keeps the smell behind you as well as the critters out of the trash.

The other item is a www.thewaterport.com 3.3 gallon pressurized water tank to rinse dishes, dogs and feet. It straps onto the Yakima rack and you can see the supplied quick disconnect hose and garden sprayer. Works great!

The stainless grate is a fire pit platform for resting pans to cook or cooking steaks etc directly on. We mostly boondock so these solutions wouldnt be for the asphalt camper.

I especially like the red low-rider TV over there on the right...

@Newfisher - When you say it keeps critters out, what kind of critters?  You aren't that far from me, but I'd be worried about bears.....

@gophergrad A locking bear box od the 'ol hang it on a limb is the only way to safely keep bears away from food.

This is high enough to keep racoons and rats out.

Gotcha.  Yeah, we have the plastic canister thing, but I still hang it from a tree.
