Jensen issues

We are camping in TN & decided to rent a movie tonight. The DVD wouldn't play thru the tv. I had to hook it up using the jacks on the bottom (per the users manual) instead of the side but it will only play in back & white. Ours is a 2015 max s model with Jensen model number JE1912LED. This is the first time we used the DVD, we watched tv when we were in KY on our way home when we purchased it & it was fine. Haven't camped anywhere since with an antenna signal to know if it's the tv or how I have the DVD wired. Any suggestions would be appreciated. We did try a different movie but it was the same way.

I'm only guessing here but it almost sounds like a "connection issue." Here is a discussion that is similar to what you are experiencing and it does indicate that it's a connection issue in the way you have your cables input into the TV as well as a potential menu setup option. Let us know how things work out for you.
