Swagman RV Bike rack on 2" extended towing bar with T@B trailer
The Swagman Traveler 2 RV towing bar bike rack is working out quite well for our setup. It is limited to two bikes whereas other racks hold more but that is not an issue for us as there are only two of us. It required a 14" tow bar with a 6" drop for my Tacoma. I'll use the normal 9" bar with 6" drop if I don't need to take the bikes. I've attached some pictures.
You might notice that I've gone to a different wheel at the front of my trailer and that is because I wanted one that folds up out of the way more so than the default factory one does. Didn't want to bottom out . I don't think the bike rack would hit the factory wheel column as it's 14" from the bottom of the bike rack to the top of the trailer ball in case anyone cares.

That looks like it works great! On the swivel jack you use we have a similar one. We use a short light bungee to hold the handle in place so it doesn't hit on bumps.Norm & Pat. 320 S Outback Utah or somewhere else.

The only issue I have with this set-up is that it eliminates any entry into the rear of the vehicle. It does allow you to carry bikes without worrying about losing them.Mike - Elmira, Mi / 2019 T@B 400 / 2021 Chevy Silverado LTZ

Andyhe (Andy?)...I have a Tacoma also...did you consider a dual hitch receiver...e.g.

Andyhe, do you know what the make and model of tongue jack?

It's a Fulton but if I were to do it again, I'd get one that fits well on the 4.5" beam of the trailer hitch. The fulton is about 5" so I needed to shim it with a piece of wood. Had I gotten one that was only 4.5", it would have fit better.

Sorry about the delay guys... I haven't been here for a while. Durango, I saw the dual hitch receiver after I'd purchased the other one. Looks like a good way to go.
Yes, Mike is correct that it is a pain to get into the back of the truck when the bike rack is mounted. No way around that except to go for the mount on the front of the trailer.
