Name for your T@B?

We always name our vehicles and I noticed a few people have names for their T@Bs. I looked for a thread about names, but didn't come up with anything, so I'm making one!

What's your T@B called and why?

Our TV is Sue the Subaru. Her predecessor was Bessie, a loyal girl who gave up the ghost.

For our T@B, I'm considering "T@Boo" as a name and going with a pin-up theme throughout.

I live full time in a 5th wheel in my backyard, and named the 5th wheel "Casanotsogrande". So decided to name my T@B "T@Bcasa". After reading your bear stories maybe name it "Bearwithus"....

I named mine Fant@bulous.  One because it had "tab" in it and two is because my friends and I love to say that word. Plus she IS pretty Fant@bulous.  :)  The 2nd runner up was T@basco since my T@b is red.  If you want to find possible names with "tab" as part of it, you can go to scrabble.com and search words with "Tab" in them.

    I guess I will break a t@boo if I name it that. :)

Great at minds and all that!

Still may have to see if it's available as a vanity plate. Maybe To avoid confusion I'll call it T@boo Too.

I am thinking nose art pin-ups would look so cool on a silver T@b. Now I need to channel my inner Gil Elvgrin or more likely Andrew Bawiddaman.

Our boat is a "cat-rigged" sailboat.  Traditionally something cat related is in the name - hence MERCATOR with cat in the middle.  That is the vanity plate on our TV a Subaru.  Because we refer to our T@B as a Tabby - also cat related - the name seems to be Land MERCATOR by default.

Our vanity plate on our Subaru is "4KENAI" which has multiple meanings. First, we intend to drive it to the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. Second, but more importantly, our dog's name is Kenai. She was named after the peninsula/river/town/wildlife refuge/etc. If we ever get a boy dog, he'll probably be Homer.

Love this thread!!!  I always name things, too.  My T@B is "ClemenT@B" after my dad, Clem.  My Subaru is Earth Angel.  I'm getting a new Tacoma (red) in February, but don't have a name yet.  For now, she's just Truck.

The Yahoo group has a database of names that have been used. Mine is  W@goneer. I originally wanted Downton T@bbey, but it was taken.

Me penchant for naming goes beyond vehicles (of which I've had Bessie, Sue, the Blunderbus and others) and on to computer hardware. Each of my computers, phones, networks and hard drives have been named after Pixar characters. Initially, there was Woody and Buzz (and later Bullseye) from Toy Story. Then Sully and Boo from Monsters, Inc. Then Mr. Incredible, Elastagirl, Frozone, Dash, Violet, Mirage, Apogee, Everseer and Gazerbeam from the Incredibles. Wifi network is called Dug (from Up) and all of my iPhones previous to this were Mirage. This one is Lightyear.

And that's probably not even all of them.

I chose T@Balong for our 2014 model.   Due to some warranty work and the nice upgrades this year, I'll be picking up my new 2015 T@B S Max in the middle of February.   Should I be naming it T@Balong II or Two or Too?   I guess like babies, sometimes you have to see them first!

I chose T@Berius. Not that I am a die hard Trekkie, but I thought it was unique and we do plan to boldly go (where no man has gone before) and to seek new civilizations. For those that may not know, James T Kirks's middle name was Tiberious. Makes me want to put a registration number decal NCC-1701 on my T@B.

Not nearly as creative as the other posts, but once I put up the two visors on my T@B, he practically named himself "Buzz". To Infinity and Beyond !

Seeing our  T@B is orange and aluminum she ended up being called T@Basco, as in hot sauce, maybe we should paint a couple of chillies on her!

I thought there was a previous thread on this, but maybe not.  As stated by Jenn, the Yahoo forum, starting in 2004, has a database of names given.  There are many!  My yellow T@B's name is Daisy T@Baker, pronounced tab-a-ker, a play on our last name.
    Crystal & Daisy, a yellow 2007 T@B Q previously towed by a 2008 Jeep Liberty, and currently towed by a 2016 RAM 1500.

TABaker - I always forget that exists but have never liked the Yahoo Forums format for some reason. Took longer than expected to get accepted into the group, by that time I found this forum met my needs.

Ditto, I have tried the Yahoo groups format a couple of times, never liked it.  I joined the t@b one, looked once, and have not been back.

I have just recently joined both.  Made several entries to T@B forum, gotten several great ideas.  Received six emails from Yahoo explaining the rules.  Haven't yet felt like reading them.
