Friction hinges

Saw a trailer (OutdoorRV) with friction hinges so door will stay where you put it. Claims it will hold in a 15 mph wind. Seems like this would be a good option for the door hitting visor problem. Has anyone looked into this? I can't find a source for these hinges and also would like any info on replacing hinges on a T@B.
