Only 1/2 gallon antifreeze?

I winterized after draining and blowing out the lines but the system only took 1/2 gallon. The faucet has to be open for the pump to take up antifreeze, and within 1/2 gallon, pink was coming out the faucet, the shower, and the toilet. Does this sound correct? I expected it to take a minimum of a gallon.

That's probably about right if you bypassed the water heater as you should.
