Outback GVWR

A question for anyone who has picked up their new Outback. Is the GVWR different on the Outback? The GVWR on the standard T@B is 2800 lbs. With a heavier axle, I was wondering if the Outback had more cargo capacity.

  Is the axle heavier or is the pitch just different to allow more ground clearance ?

  The standard axle is a U29.
