Jack-It Bike Rake / Mounting Issues

I am about to try and mount the Let'sGo Aero Bike Rake onto my 2013 TAB. It looks to me as if I will need to disconnect the surge brake line to install. It would be a short duration disconnect and reconnect. I need to lace the line through the bike rake mount. Will I need to somehow bleed the line if I disconnect this line to install this bike rake.

Also, looks like I may have an interference with this brake line and the mounting tower for the bike rake. I thought this rake system was designed and all approved for the TAB. It is an item linked on their website???

Well shoot! I searched on bike rack and get 12? Pages of references but I don't recall anyone ever mentioning their surge brakes in relation to the process of mounting them. And of course, you get multiple returns on surge break searches. Perhaps a call to nüCamp?

What I would do is call the factory and ask to speak to Austin Jones. I'm sure this isn't an every day installfor them and you might want to send him photos too and let him ponder your set up so that he can offer upsime suggestions.

Did you install the Jack It bike carrier? If so, how do you like it?
