I just replaced the crank with if I remember a 1/2” bolt. Just pop off the top cover for access. I think it was a 6” bolt. I cut off the thread. Then I drilled a small hole in it to match the crank handle. If you are not good with tools. Ask a friend or neighbor. Good luck

  I would try to use a light and a mirror to get a better look inside the pump compartment to pinpoint where the actual leak is.

  @BrianZ Yes I am just under 300, and it tows perfectly even with particularly filled holding tanks. Our Jeep GC has 500lb tongue cap. So know problem there.
