Question for tall T@B owners. Or toilets for tall people

Do tall people have any issues while sitting on the toilet in their S trailers? Do your knees hit the wall is there enough room for your feet? I don’t have the tall issue, but I do have very limited range of motion in my right knee. Making sitting on the toilet almost impossible. Maybe others will find my  solution helpful. I simply replaced our low profile toilet with a standard height one which added an additional 4 almost 5 inches. Although my DW is quite short it doesn’t effect usage to any great degree.

Wow, an ADA height RV toilet.  Who knew there was such a thing.

I'm only 5' 10", and still pretty spry. 😂 I can see that being a nice upgrade.  It's not easy lowering oneself in such a tight space.  Please do a writeup of how you did it.  I'm comfortable replacing residential toilets, but haven't tackled an RV one yet.

Actually @Dalehelman it’s a nice mod for anyone with knee issues. When I’ve looked at other trailers at the big show I noticed the taller stool and liked it. Hmmmm...   ;)

Very easy. Two 1/2” nuts, and one hand tight water line. Just like any residential toilet. Took 15 to 20 minutes. Found the toilet on Amazon  Prime $109 + tax free shipping. About a 1 on a scale 1-5 of difficulty. Comes with new flange seal.

Note the flange seal is not the wax type. Just rubber. Easy peasy!

What a great mod. I showed it to DH and he agrees. Currently he can’t get both knees inside the bathroom so he can’t close the door, and both of us have to grab the wall outside to help pull us up. This would go a long way to make our T@B usable for years to come.

would you mind posting a link to the toilet, and some details about how you installed it? We’ve replaced toilets at home several times but have no idea how an RV toilet is installed.

nuCamp installed a door handle inside the bathroom to the left of the mirror for me. It allows me to pull myself up without opening the bathroom door ;)

So @Dalehelman and @ericnliz if you go in to do your business and are angry about something, then you’d have hot cross buns, right?

Would you post a picture of the nuCamp Grab Handle installation?
Many of us have completed mods to add a handle in the bathroom . . . would be nice to see how nuCamp did it.

This is a picture of the handle nuCamp installed in my shower.  It is the same handle used beside the front door.  It is attached to the left of my shower mirror.  Hope I posted this picture correctly.....

@SharonK,  was that an anchorable spot?  I've never done anything requiring gaining knowledge about that wall.  Otherwise, of course my wife will want one...

@TerryV6 I have a 2017 320S. I called NuCamp and asked how much space there was from the corner where the 2x4 is out there is to add a handle. The answer was a 1/2” out. The handle in this pic must have more structure added inside the wall to support any pulling weight. Mr @2Cougs did a great handle mod in their 320CS-S. He has good pics of it.

@TerryV6 - The handle was installed at the Rally two years ago by the nuCamp maintenance team.  I didn't watch them do it, but they assured me it was stable.  I use it more for balance than to lift my weight and have not had a problem.

@SharonK if you ever take the TV off the wall and peek inside would you mind posting a pic of the inside mounting? Thanks!
