I just replaced the crank with if I remember a 1/2” bolt. Just pop off the top cover for access. I think it was a 6” bolt. I cut off the thread. Then I drilled a small hole in it to match the crank handle. If you are not good with tools. Ask a friend or neighbor. Good luck

  Actually it works best for us if left partially extended. That way for quick stops we don't have to fiddle with pulling the step out. Feel free to do what works for you. I always love the input…

  Home Depot will cut the plywood to size. Two 1/4"X1 1/4" bolts through the existing step holes will secure it.

  It comes in 3 sizes be sure to get the one for the T@B the last one on the list. It has been reported that it fits perfect.
