I just replaced the crank with if I remember a 1/2” bolt. Just pop off the top cover for access. I think it was a 6” bolt. I cut off the thread. Then I drilled a small hole in it to match the crank handle. If you are not good with tools. Ask a friend or neighbor. Good luck

  We try to always go down hill. Roads that go south seem to work to. No really keeping speed at 60 mph or less works best for us although I rarely do.

  Replacement is pretty expensive. A good quality spray paint is less than $10. We painted all the white parts to match the trailer color. Three years ago and it still looks great.

  I would try putting the visor in the freezer. If the sap has not seeped into the fibers it may just break away clean. Good luck.
