There are other posts here about new trailers being mis-wired at the shunt. Only the negative wire from the battery should go to the battery side of the shunt. -
Re: Isolating a non lithium compatible WFCO converter when upgrading to lithium
If connecting an Li charger “directly” to the battery, be sure to connect the negative charging wire to the Load side of the shunt. When I added a solar charger and an Li charger, I replaced the one … -
Re: Norcold 3-Way Fridge Running off DC vs AC w/inverter
I’ll be interested in the test results. At 110V you may find some small efficiency increase on an absorption refrigerator over 12V, but I suspect the inverter inefficiencies will overwhelm any 110V e… -
Re: Installed lithium batteries in 2022 T@b 400
A couple of things. The solar charger is typically connected between the battery and the circuit breaker, so it should have still charged your battery. Make sure your chargers are reconfigured to Li.… -
Re: Varying SOC in Parallel Batteries
Hmmm. That response doesn't make much sense. Batteries connected in parallel pretty quickly balance out to the same voltage. If one is higher voltage it quickly charges the lower voltage battery…
