You should have the digital control panel. There is a menu a few levels down that lets you display boiler temp and sanitary temp. That will let you check it your Alde is heating properly. Info in the… -

Yes, I did drill some drainage holes for water. I am not concerned about propane since we rarely use it and then only turn it on while we are using it, and the whole back of the tub is open. -
