@Brad42, I guess I was thinking of the plastic trim and rubber gasket as a unit. While the gasket may help keep torrents of water from getting under the trim, it shouldn't hurt anything if it do…1 -

I understand the plastic trim to be purely aesthetic. I assume the construction underneath is the same as with CS models, which lack the decorative trim entirely.2 -
