Lots of people use battery powered drills. However, an impact driver--if that is what you really meant-- is something else and I would definitely NOT use one of those!3 -

It's not really that difficult to drill out a rivet. If you get the bit size just right the head will pop off and then the rivet can just be poked out the other side.2
