My wife and I like the slide outs. They were sticky and stubborn at first but I took them off and used furniture paste wax on all surfaces and they slide quite nicely now. We have a short curtain rod…1 -

I’ve had a lot of luck removing bumper stickers and window tint with a hand held clothes steamer. The combination of heat and moisture worked so I could peel them right off. No excess heat or solvent…1
