What year is the trailer? If you have installed solar and the Victron controller, you need to set up the App for the proper lithium charging profile.1 -

One thing that can happen if the batteries are very low: when you try plugging in the trailer, the surge of power to the trailer can trip curcuit breakers or fuses.What battery setup do you have?1
