If you buy a Pex A crimping tool like this https://www.amazon.com/s?k=pex+crimping+tool the tool also will cut the clamp. Simply do that, cut the compromised end (with the pipe cutting tool provided)…1 -

On my 400 the emergency break-away brakes are wired to the 12 volt side of the converter, so the battery needs to be on, as noted above, or the trailer needs to be plugged in to shore power for the b…1
