Yoshi_TAB - Quick question I hope… have set up my Lithium system similar to yours, except I decided not to do an Inverter.  Am using 4 AWG wire from bus bars to battery assuming theoretical maximum charge @ 85 amps.  But… do I also need to run 4 AWG from negative bus to the ground bar since all the negatives tie into the ground bar directly?

Hi, I am not an electrical expert , but my answer is no. I did not. I only have the larger AWG wire to the bus bar, then 10 AWG wire from busbar to OEM ground bar. Make sure you have your battery fuse protection , sized for 85 amps as close to the batteries as possible.

Thanks. I believe I simply need to move the WFCO and Solar Controller negatives to my new negative bus bar (rather than leaving them connected to the OEM grounding bar). I believe you did this also?

Hi, I connected my battery and solar controllers to the negative busbar. Then ran a 10 AWG wire from negative busbar to the OEM busbar screwed to the floor behind the WFCO. I’d have to double check but I believe I left the WFCO ground wired to the OEM busbar.

Thanks for the info and for the pictures of your storage container system.  Unfortunately your system won't work for our setup.  Your idea did inspire us to rethink our storage system and we really like the idea of only storing the clothing we will be using the next day, in the trailer. We used you idea and  now have our own his/her bins that we keep in the TV.

Hopefully you were able to view the eclipse successfully.  We were out of luck as we had a cloudy day in our area.

    Thanks again,
