I have a Honda Ridgeline and my bottle jack was able to lift my 2021 320 Boondock, however as one person pointed out. If and when I have a flat will the jack fit under the trailer. I havent been able to check that out yet but figured I could drive the flat wheel over a piece of 4x4or blocks to give me enough clearance. The…
We're in the same position and have decided to get a pickup truck as a TV instead. I know that seems drastic, but I think it is the best option. The Honda Ridgeline is a fantastic little truck that drives like a car as it is basically a Pilot with a bed instead of a trunk.
@Homebodyatheart I'm pulling mine with a 2010 4 Cyl Forester. I won't be attempting mountains with it. However, the older Subaru's have a different engine than the new ones. I am planning on upgrading the tow vehicle to a Honda Ridgeline at some point.
Honda Ridgeline. I’m getting more than 24 mpg since new with now more than 12,000 miles and have averaged more than 18 mpg in Eco mode while towing our 2018 320S under 65 mph.
I have ordered a 2021 TaB 320 CS S and I am deciding on a hitch and ball. Can you tell me the correct ball height of the towing vehicle so that the connected TaB will be level? The TV is a 2019 Honda Ridgeline. Thanks!
@Denny16 The Honda Ridgeline is an excellent tow vehicle for the T@B400...and unless you have personal experience to the contrary, you're not helping anyone by saying it should be ruled out. Perhaps it would be the perfect TV for @TresK3, perhaps not, but it should be considered if its attributes match up to their needs.…
I poked around and found a few towing-with-a-Honda Ridgeline threads but need some current information about sway control. The new Boondock tows great with my 2014 Honda Ridgeline Special Edition during straight ahead highway driving. With only 46k miles our black Ridgeline V-6 has perfect credentials for the Boondock tow…
LauraRey, nice tv I had a 2008 ridgeline ,loved that trk. traded in on a 2016 Honda pilot... better gas milage.. you will forget the t@b is back there.. nice choice.. I miss the basement ... that is what I called the under the bed storage...Happy Campin...
- 2018 Honda Ridgeline RTLE - 2018 Tab 400 - 10 mpg average non-flat (mountains - MD, PA, VA) with cruise set at 70 (varies 67-72) - 13-15 mpg average flat (eastern shore of MD) with cruise set at 60 (varies 58-61)
+1 on no WDH I'm towing a 2021 400 with a Honda Ridgeline, and you definitely do not need a WDH. The 2021 400 tows very well - and is stable and doesn't sway even with insane head, cross, and rear South Texas winds that I just pulled through for 100's of miles.
