Welcome @sammydoggy! Of your questions, the easiest to address is the bed. If you search on "topper", you'll find lots of discussions! We don't use extra anything because we find the cushions comfortable, but there are many solutions! And how you sleep, side to side or front to back orientations, twin or full…
Very nice work. We are probably going with lagun mount and will have to think about a table size. Also might go to the twin bed idea. Btw, if that is your workshop, I'm extremely jealous...
I want to make the twin bed modification that extends the side seats on my 320S 2020 and these are the plastic things that holds the bed slats in place. I would like to remove them permanently so I don't have to cut a notch on my add-on. I tried to pry them out by pulling up, but they are not budging. Any idea ?
None of the choices in the poll apply to me. I’d like a camper with a separate dinette, but the side-to- side bed in the 400 just won’t work for us. I’m holding out for a camper with a dinette and real twin beds. (Yeah, I know Oliver makes one, got to buy a big honking truck first.)
We leave our weird cushions and side cushions at home since we leave our twin beds made up. Decorative throw pillows provide back support and are easier to get out of the way.
We have a 2016 GMC Canyon (virtual twin of the Colorado), V6 gasoline, 4 door, short bed, 4wd, and towing package. Typical MPG pulling the 2014 TAB S Max is 13 to 15mpg.
I purchased two twin sized Black Lable PrimaLoft fiber beds from the Company store. The bedding is 4" thick, light weight, easily compresses in length or width to fit an area that is slightly smaller than the twin size. If I travel solo, I bring along one. If I'm traveling with two, I bring both. I bought a king size duvet…
We have 2 105lb dogs and the T@Bs nearly king size bed is what attracted us to it the most ( and all of the helpfull forum members). We graduated from a 1960 Avion with 2 twin beds ( one dog on each with one person) and a Vanagon Zbed ( queen-ish). We call it Tetris sleeping
Cori, we’re new T@bbers, and have a CS-S which has a 58x70 bed. So far, what I’ve done is use two flat queen size sheets and a queen mattress pad. I found that Ikea’s mattress pads don’t have the elastic skirt all the way around, just elastic diagonally at the corners, so it’s easy to make and unmake the bed and I can just…
+1 for Mattress Insider. I use the "twin bed" mod and went with a 35x72 2 inch memory foam. Just got it the other day, and it is so much easier to deal with compared to the cut memory foam I was using.
