A long time ago here on the forum, someone used an app on their iPhone/iPad pair so they could watch on their iPad what the camera on the iPhone was seeing (it was a remote camera app). They just attached the camera to the back (velcro?) of either TV or T@B and wirelessly had a backup camera. No wiring or installation…
I have a wireless Costco rear view camera mounted to my Outback rack. A small 12V battery supplies the power. My TV has a factory backup camera (zero help with TAB hitched). The Costco camera helps, but lacks in resolution when in the woods (the grass blends into the bush which blends into the tree - just a big green and…

Decided IR LEDs were not needed since this camera has a Sony CCD with .01 lux. Plus one rule for happy…
We installed the backup/rear view camera on M@bel today! It works like a charm! The camera is mounted to the plastic guard from the Yakima rack and the power line is ran under the camper and thru an access hole near the Alde furnace (no holes drilled in the hull). From there it follows the glycol pipe to an area behind the…
Lookin good. Let us know how it all works out in the field. My experience in the driveway (steady and clear) is a lot different than on the road (uneven performance). Not sure if the cause is general RF interference on the inexpensive 2.4Ghz transmitter/receiver or whether shielding is required on all wiring. In…
I doubt the mod performed did any damage to shell integrity regardless of multiple holes, even though there are layers of stuff in that portion of the roof. I took the minimalist approach with one small hole in outer shell only. See updated post above: http://tab-rv.vanillaforums.com/discussion/comment/54005/#Comment_54005…
