A 1x5 and a couple of "U" clamps was all it took. Hardware store brass screws and thumb-nuts and washers assisted with corrosion resistance and ease of removing and reinstalling :

Set up at a camp-site with powerful reception and only 12' of cable :

On the road it folds down, but the wind tended to push the antenna up, so we opted for removing it entirely between camp sites:

There are many of the "Rembrant" TV antennas on Ebay, still selling because they still work even in our "digital" age. And, stylish.
