Expect to take possession of 2020 T@B 400 later this week. Much to learn about this adventure and value the input of everyone on this forum. My TV is 2019 Volvo XC60 T6 Insripction with Volvo electronic hitch assembly. Planning 2-3 month tour of US beginnning mid-spring 2020 from Southern California across southern tier, up eastern seaboard to Virginia, across central midwest, aiming for Indy 500 in late May, then westward...home. Plan is basically little to minimize freeways and little to no fast food. Mission is to photograph the American Flag is the most unusual, unique and out of the way places I can find while dining on good 'ol American fare in Diners, Drive-in's and Dives. This forum seems like a great place to start. Thank you in advance for your input, insight, and shared intellect!@

Yep, that's in the works, Sharon. Several 2-4 day shake-down cruises here in SoCal during the winter and early spring. Lots to learn and looking forward to it. And it's been quite a while since I backed up a trailer. Hopefully it's like riding a bike! ;-)

I think that like anything - practice makes perfect.  But, just know, backing up our little TaBs can be more difficult than the big guys!

Thanks, Sharon. So I've heard. Investigating side mirror extenstions for the TV first and foremost. Want to be sure whatever I use doesn't cause any damage to existing mirrors. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Let the adventure begin!

We've had our T@b cs-s since 2015 and it has been great.  Longest trip so far from NH to TX and back.  No problems.  I originally thought about extension mirrors but have to come realize there is no need.  I'd recommend finding a quiet back road and try just backing up a distance.  Backing up seems to be the most stressful maneuver, especially when under pressure.  Relax, enjoy, welcome.

Good tips all around. Slow and steady wins, I'm sure. Yep...going to find a large empty parking lot and spend time doing just that. Thanks! 

On another note (and posted on another, older thread) does anyone have experience with the Pahaque Tent for T@B 400? Or the enclosed awning? Seem like good products and get good review. Bit on the pricey side,tho...Cheers!
