What’s the difference between the Therm and the Cont (continuous?) setting? I don’t think it matters which of the two systems I have - of those that have the electric LED panel control. They both have these settings. I know that in one of the settings you cannot do the 30 min hot water boost that shuts off the glycol heat. But functionally is that the only difference? Why would I select one over the other? Thanks!

Manual says:
Therm: The pump is controlled by the room sensor. This is the normal mode
for heat and hot water.
Keeping things in Normal Mode sounds Good to Me.
So I'm not going to change/worry about it.'18 320 S, pitched axle, 3020HE; PNW basedTV: '17 Colorado V6 Z71 4x4, Tow Package, GM Brake Controller

In continuous setting the circulating pump runs continuously. In Therm as needed. Therm is the preferred choice2017 T@B 320S 2019 Jeep Cherokee - Southern Connecticut

If you are boondocking and want to conserve some power, the Therm setting would intermittently power the glycol pump. Continuous runs constantly? Less efficient? And you are correct, since the Boost hot water setting actually stops the glycol from circulating, you can’t use Boost when the Alde is set to Continuous circulation.Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio

As per my initial question, I’m trying boost with the solid triangle on display and getting no hot water while set on cont. so I’ve switched to therm and Hope I’ll get hot water! Thanks all.

Darn hijackers! ;-)I moved the questions and comments about the circulator pump speed to their own discussion.2015 T@B Max S (320)

Good idea. That was a good discussion but different topic. Thanks

Either heating pump should not affect your ability to get hot water. If heating is working and hot water is not then most likely issues are that the temperature valve is faulty or needs replacing or there is no water in the heater maybe in bypass or airlock??

I’ve got both. Thank you. I needed to flip the valves from winterizing mode.
