Refrig door seal

Opened the refrig door and the whole seal came off, what's up with that? Is is glued on or just pressed into the slot? Thanks in advance

Press fit. Common issue especially if you leave the door closed during storage. 
When not in use we crack open the door, insert the retainer pin, and leave it slightly open.
If it comes off easily you could add some removable adhesive in the slot.
