Are you using the correct 2 inch ball for towing your 400?

A recent article I was reading brought up the question. We have had a lot of discussion about tongue weight etc, but what about the 2 inch Ball. I checked ours and it is the 6000 lb capacity ball. There are a lot of 3000lb balls in the 2 inch class and with the 400, this may not cut it. Our last trip with a light load and no onboard water scaled at 3200lbs for the 400. The weight is stamped in the top surface of the ball in most quality balls.
