400 Paper Towel Roll Holder

I searched for "Paper Towel Holder" on the site and found great ideas for 320 owners (above the door), but nothing for 400s. I got this ratcheting holder and installed above the sink. It doesn't interfere with anything, easy to change the roll, and mounts to the wood cabinet up above (below microwave). It has expandable center ribs that keep the roll from pulling off as you tear.
I get the Viva "Signature Cloth" choose-a-sheet towels. They feel like those blue shop paper towels, you can select a half-sheet and they don't unroll on their own.

I've tried the little puck-sized towels. I find I'd have to get them pretty wet to unfurl them, and that took time. With a dog, sometimes I need a towel quickly within easy reach of the door.

    We have that exact same item in our house.  We put it on the inside of a cabinet door so the paper towels aren't on the counter.

    Now I realize we need another one!

    glad it is working out well for you! I ordered the same holder two months ago for my 320 but haven’t worked up the nerve to screw into my walls. You’ve given me new resolve!  :) Thanks for sharing

    Just use some 3/8ths oval head stainless screws to attach to the bottom of the overhead cabinet, and you should be fine.  Drill a shallow pilot hole, I used a tapered woodworking drill bit designed to drill screw pilot holes.

    Thank you @SubaruLou. I attached mine into the wood above the sink, no outside wall was harmed during the installation.  ;)
    I know 320s are different, but the beauty of this inexpensive holder, is that it can be functionally and asthetically mounted in many different directions.

    I use the same Viva paper towels. They are the best and don't unroll.

    Alternate location on a TAB400
     

    uses a simplehuman dispenser.  Can reach it without getting right into the trailer.
